SCSU Coastal Resilience Master’s Program.
As the graphic designer for Southern Connecticut State University’s newly formed Master’s Program in Coastal Resilience, I was able to create the necessary assets for the program to have a cohesive start-up. This includes a program guidebook for students, a presentation template for future use, faculty introductions, and a letterhead to be used for contacting universities across the country about the opportunity for students. I also collaborated on creating a LinkedIn account for the program, designing the profile and helping plan a schedule for posting.
-
I designed a guidebook for students accepted into the program, as well as assisted with creating the copy for it. I created the guidebook for screens, as well as one that would be more feasible for printing out copies of.
-
Each accepted student must choose a faculty advisor to oversee them, so I created short profile promotions for each faculty member. They include short biographies of each member and images of them in the field.

Since the Coastal Resilience Program was created for the first time starting the 2025-2026 school year, it was important to reach out to universities with similar programs across the country. I designed a letterhead template that would be a distinct, yet non-invasive way of branding the letters that would be sent to
these universities. -
The logo for Southern Connecticut State University is the main branding symbol for all university programs, but the programs are allowed their own icons for identification. The Coastal Resilience had an icon from a previous project, but wanted it recreated to fit the needs of the program, which I was able to do. The icon works well for profile pictures, as well as a variety of other assets.

As a professional Master’s Program, it is important to think ahead for future needs. A presentation template was one of these needs, so I designed a presentation with multiple page layouts that would be easy to edit at any time.

The Coastal Resilience Program consists of many travel opportunities, multiple of which include harsher climates or weather patterns. I assisted in choosing a light rain jacket to order for the faculty team, as well as created the logo to be placed onto the front chest area of the jacket.
